This year @AustraliaAward Scholarships has mobilised 69 new awardees from across Bangladesh to undertake master’s degree study at 16 different universities in Australia. Making up this group of potential future leaders are:
34 women and 35 men
two people with disability
two people from ethnic backgrounds
51 people are from the public sector, Bangladesh Cadre Service
five people are from the private sector
13 people are from civil society
Their chosen fields of study are:

two – gender equity and social inclusion, including disability

three – rural development/ regional stability
12 – environment
six – infrastructure
three – water and sanitation
one – disaster risk reduction
two – food security
