Forty-four #AustraliaAwards alumni from South and West Asia are in Thimphu, #Bhutan this week for a Regional Alumni Workshop, ‘Australia Awards Alumni as Champions for the Environment and Climate Action’.
Successful alumni groups have been issued with grants to pilot 14 environment and climate action initiatives in their home countries – including #Afghanistan, #Bangladesh, #Bhutan, the #Maldives, #Nepal, #Pakistan, and #Sri Lanka.
